About us

Rosa Rosae was created from a very personal place.

My name is Henry, and dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

In my family, they have never been “just pets.”  They are part of the rhythm of the house, part of the everyday routine, and, in my mum’s case, very much treated like one of her children.

Possibly better than her actual children, but we try not to take it personally.

For over ten years, my mum and I shared a simple routine: walking our dogs together.

It was one of those ordinary daily rituals that, over time, became something much bigger. It was fresh air, conversation, comfort, and companionship. It was a small part of the day that quietly held a lot of meaning.

When one of our dogs passed away, the loss hit my mum deeply. It was not only the heartbreak of saying goodbye to a beloved family member. It was also the sudden absence of the routine, the presence, and the little moments that had shaped her day for so many years.

Seeing her go through that emptiness made me want to understand how people cope with the grief of losing a pet. I began researching ways to remember, honour, and feel connected to the animals we love after they are gone. From that, Rosa Rosae was born.

Our brand exists to help people hold on to the love, not just the loss.

Through meaningful keepsakes and remembrance pieces, we hope to offer comfort during one of the hardest goodbyes, and create something lasting for the pets who gave us so much.

Because the bond does not end when they leave us.

It changes shape, but it stays with us.
